So Fun!!! :)

I know this girl named Lynae.
She's cute, fun to be around, and super nice to everyone!
We have known each other for a couple of years.
I can't even remember a specific time that we officially met.
She was my visiting teacher for a couple of months last year.
It was so fun to get to know her better through that!
She's seriously just a sweetheart!
Well she nominated me for the
"
Stylish Blogger Award!"
To Participate here's what I have to do:
#1: Thank the person who nominated you
#2: Share seven facts about yourself
#3: Nominate 7 new bloggers to participate.
Be sure to comment on their blog so they know they've won, too!

--So here we go,7 amazing facts about me!!--

#1- I am 64 days away from marrying the love of my life!
I am sorry that this is all my blog has been about lately, but it is the most exciting thing going on right now!! I seriously can't wait!
#2- I am scared of shadows, and heights!
When I was little there were lots of shadows in my bedroom. I always found myself thinking they were something scary. So I'm not scared of shadows when I know what they are. Just when I don't know what they are is when I get scared!
#3-My mom is becoming my best friend!
I was always told when I was little that one day my mom would be my best friend. This is now happening to me. I love it!
#4- When I'm alone in my car I turn my music up as loud as it can go and sing at the top of my lungs!
It's kind of like therapy. If you haven't tried it, you should!
#5- I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
The problem with this is that I'm kind of grown up... and I'm running out of time to decide what I am going to school to be!
#6- I want to fly somewhere so bad!
Maybe I just feel like I need a vacation. But I have had this urge to fly somewhere for the longest time! I just need to do it!
#7- I hate being late when I go places!
But I don't really like being early either. I just like being perfectly on time.

Well now that you have read a little about me it's my turn to nominate seven of you beautiful souls, so I choose...
1-Lauren Christensen
2-Alex Halladay
3-Alexis Alger
4-Lindsey Gourley
5-Alex Whittaker
6-Kacie Lundberg
7-Christi Brazee

At 1:17 A.M.

I am laying in bed doing this...
-Thinking about my future. I used to think that as soon as I found out who I was going to marry that there would be nothing more to wonder about my future. I know now that I was seriously fooling myself! Can I just tell you though that even though the wondering about my husband was exciting, the wondering about my future with him is even more exciting. I mean don't get me wrong I think I know just as well as anyone that marriage is not a walk in the park. And yes, I do expect to have arguments between the two of us, but I'm looking forward to solving them together. I'm so excited to see what our life has in store for us. And can I just tell you that I love calling it "our" life now instead of "my" life!
-Here are some wedding plan updates for all of you that care :)
--I GOT MY DRESS!!!! AND I OWE IT ALL TO PARENTS THAT LOVE ME! It's absolutely gorgeous and I am completely in love with everything about it!
--The reception is pretty well put together (kinda...)
--The temple is scheduled, thank you grandma!
--I cashed in my change that I have been saving for the past two and a half years because I knew I would need it one day to pay for something to do with my wedding... it was close to 500 dollars. So advice to all of you... save your change, it really does add up!!!
--My mother is the most creative amazing woman on this planet! Without her I would so lost in all this planning stuff! She has forever and will continue to save me on every occasion. I don't know what I would ever do without her!
--We are getting our engagement pictures taken this next Saturday! By the VERY TALENTED Sara Ursua! Her work is amazing! There is a link to her blog on my page. Her business is called hi 5 photography. I have gotten to know her over the past three years and I can honestly say that she is a sweetheart! I can't wait Sar!
--I am madly in love with my fiance. I can't even express my grattitude to him! He works so hard to keep everyting in our lives running so smoothly. He keeps on my butt about my homework and he always has all of his priorities layed out straight. He goes to work at 6 A.M. three times a week and finds the energy to spend time with me every night. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Weekend:

Thank you for coming!
Homework: Thank you for being done!
Now I just have to go to work in a few hours, hopefully make a million dollars... and then I get to spend the rest of my night with Chase. We are boring. We'll probably watch Law and Order or something. It's my new addiction.
Yesterday I went wedding shopping with my madre! Holy fun crazy day! We had a blast and got a lot done in a short amount of time. I am so excited for
April 22!
You all better come to my reception... I'm looking forward to it.

In Case You Haven't Already Heard Me Yelling From Roof Tops...

I'm Engaged!!!
I know...exciting right??!! Chase Kent Jaros is my future husband, and I love him. I can't even sleep at night anymore cause I'm really so excited! I'm going to take this post to reminisce a little. Sometime during the month of September 2010 I was invited to go hang out with one of my friends who I had gotten to know last summer. So he and his friends came and picked me up and we drove around town doing what every bored college student does on a Friday night to waste time. Little did I know that this moment would spark a string of events in my life. Chase was amongst those friends that I was with that night. We didn't meet or talk or acknowledge each others existance. Until later when I found out he was "staring at me all night, wishing he was brave enought to talk to me." I guess we even sat by each other at one point of the night. I feel bad now that I wasn't more friendly. So a couple of weeks later my friend Aimee and I were both invited to a movie night at this same guy's house who invited me to hang out with him that first night. So we went and we were sitting on our friends trampoline when he told me, "hey my friend Chase says that you guys are in the same math class." I had no idea! Honestly this past semester I didn't really think to get to know anyone or even be observant enough to recognize people who were in my classes. But when he got up to leave I asked if he was the one and I said to him, "hey, aren't we in the same math class?" he said we were. I didn't think anything of it, but the next couple weeks in math we would say hi to each other and talk a little after class, that is if he timed it right and walked out at the same time as me :). The first time we talked I felt like I was talking to myself. I think he might have said one sentence during the whole conversation. It got a little better after we had talked a couple of times. At the start of October my roommates and I got excited for Halloween and decided to dress up in our costumes and go around and visit some of our friends... kind of like a pre- trick or treating adventure. We stopped by at my friend's house and Chase was there. He didn't really say anything to me except maybe a hi. My best friend Aimee was there hanging out with all of them also. My roommates and I didn't stay there long though because we had to go see some other people. The next day Aimee and I were talking and she informed me that Chase told them earlier that night that he had a crush on me. Well, I thought, he doesn't anymore after my little pre-Halloween dress up party. He probably thinks I'm a freak right about now. But much to my surprise we kept magically meeting up in the hall after math and still had our pint sized conversations. The weekend before Halloween I was in Christensens talking to Aimee while she worked and she told me that Jared (the friend who i've mentioned lots of times and never said his name..) had invited her to go to the cabin with him and his family for the night. I had work off that night and I didn't really have any plans so I was just sitting at home watching tv when my phone rang and it was Jared. He invited me to go to the cabin with them too. Which I later found out was Chase begging Jared to invite me. So since I didn't have any plans I agreed to go. I talked a lot on the ride, but Chase was really quiet. We decided to go out four wheeling after we got there. It was a cold night and I don't remember if I even had a good coat. If you know me at all you know that I don't usually wear coats, not because I'm not cold, but I think it's because I grew up in St. George so I forget until I'm outside and by then I figure it's too late anyway. So we got on the four wheelers and I ended up riding on the back of the one Chase was driving. I decided to hold on to the bars in the back instead of holding on to him though cause I didn't want him to think I was some crazy person. We had as good of a conversation on the four wheeler as was possible though and I kind of started to think that I might end up liking this guy. We had a fun weekend. A couple of days later I missed math because I wasn't feeling well. The next day Chase asked me where I was and volunteered himself to help me catch up. He got my number from me and came over to my house to teach me what I had missed. Halloween night Chase invited me to hang out with him, Aimee, and Jared. But I already had plans so I didn't end up spending any time with them. The next day he invited me to his house to watch a movie with him and his roommates. I went and had a good time. We laughed and kind of got to know each other. He had been trying to ask me out on a date for a while and I always had to work until that Friday night. I got off from work early and decided to give him a call. He was making dinner for him and his roommates and invited me too. So I went over and we had dinner and then he and I went to a movie. We talked and flirted a lot! I'll never put his cowboy hat on his dashboard the wrong way ever again. We had a really good time and I'm pretty sure we did something every day that next week. We went on a good share of dates and hung out with our mutual friends and watched some movies and talked A LOT!!! We really got to know each other well. And yes, one night while we were watching a movie he finally kissed me. I knew after our first date that he was the kind of guy I could marry, and I wanted to see where this was going. He and I were pretty much inseperable after that. We fell in love quickly. I went to Colorado a couple of weeks after we started dating officially and I thought I was going to die being away from him that long. On my way home from Colorado we hit a huge snow storm and I was seriously scared for my life. I just kept thinking what if I died and I never told Chase that I love him. So when I got home, it was a couple of days but the words kind of just slipped out of my mouth and he reassured me that the feeling was mutual. The first week of Christmas break we went up to the Jazz game and while we were in Salt Lake we decided to go go ring shopping. We went to the Shane Co. in Midvale where I found the ring that I absolutely love!!! He proposed to me on New Years Eve up on a hill in town where we always go to look over the lights of town and talk about our future. He got out of his truck and got on one knee and I was freaking out. It was the best feeling, best day of my life. We keep falling more in love every day. I know this is cheesy but it's true. This is our story and I wanted you all to know. We are getting married in the St. George Temple on my grandma and grandpa's 50th anniversary, April 22, 2011. I can't wait!!! Now you all know the story. I could've gone into so much more detail but it would have taken me forever! I hope you all had as much fun reading it as I had writing it. Cause I had the time of my life living it, and I can't wait to share a lifetime of stories!

Merry (Late) Christmas & Happy (Early) New Year

Oh hello. I know I have some catching up to do. I guess I will just get started.
Ok, so Chase works in Minersville with his uncles and grandpa. And sometimes he needs to save money on gas so he doesn't come home at night. So that means I don't get to see him. Unless... I go over there. Yep, you guessed it. Sometimes I go over there and hang out with him so he doesn't die of boredom and missing me. I know, I'm too kind. But it is for my own benefit as well. So one night when I was over there before Christmas we made a gingerbread house. After we were finished Chase asked me if I wanted to take a picture so I could blog about it. He always has my best interests in mind.
So here is the finished product!
I have been working a lot lately. Which is good because that was what I had planned for this break. Christmas was great! I received a kitchen aid mixer, a crock pot, cook books, a rolling pin, a thermometer, some earrings, and candy. Chase bought me a pearl necklace and I love it with my whole heart!!! It's absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't have asked for anything more! I would have to say that my Christmas was a complete success. I don't have any plans for New Years. I guess we will just see what life has in store for me. I am very excited for 2011 though! It might just be my favorite year so far!

The Word Dainty Reminds Me of a Princess...

Every little girl dreams about being a Princess, well I did. I guess I took it a little too seriously sometimes because now I'm getting the word dainty thrown at me from every direction. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it. I just never expected to hear it so much in the past couple days. Chase and I went up to Salt Lake on Monday morning to go to the Jazz game that night. We made a pit stop in Lehi at Cabellas. And they didn't even have what we needed there. But it was fun to look at the big animals. Some of them looked like they were about to charge me. I couldn't help but think of movies like Toy Story and Night at the Museum while I was there. From there we headed up to the Gateway mall. We got some good Christmas shopping done. For dinnner we drove up to Layton to my Uncle's resturaunt for some good BBQ. I kept asking Chase if he liked BBQ. He said that he did but I don't think I fully understood how much he like it until it was sitting in front of him and he looked like a little boy at Christmas. He ate it all. And some of mine. We wanted to go back to temple square to see the lights before the game so we headed back down to Salt Lake. Temple square was packed full of people. There were people taking wedding pictures, little children running everywhere, and I think I even spotted a couple fighting about going home because it was too cold. I like to people watch, and I always listen to what people around me are saying. So I was laughing at all the comments I heard. I wanted to get a picutre of us in front of the lights but it took me so long to get the nerve up to ask this lady to take it for us. But she was really nice. I just hate interupting people when I see that they are trying to enjoy themselves too. But I am happy with the picture we got.We decided to just walk from the temple to the area. Which was a good plan. It wasn't even very cold outside so I thought walking was fun. We got to the game just in time for it to start. The Jazz won the game even though they kind of had a hard time shooting throughout the game. We stayed at Chase's uncle's house in Spanish Fork on Monday night. Tuesday morning I spent playing Barbies with Chase's cousin Aubrey. She's adorable! We had fun throwing a birthday party for my Barbie. We headed to Provo that afternoon to finsish some Christmas shopping and eat lunch before heading home. At Toys R Us there was this HUGE Lego firefighter. I was so amazed by it that I made Chase go stand by it so everyone whould know how big it was and I took a picuture. I wish I could build stuff like that. Scratch that, I wish I had the time and patients to build stuff like that.
We had a reallly fun weekend. I'm glad that I had work off so we were able to just go and have fun. It's always good to just be able to let go for a few days.
NOW I NEED TO GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO MY GIRL LAUREN CHRISTENSEN! IT'S HER BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!!
If you don't know Lauren you should. She's the biggest sweetheart in the whole world!! I am so glad that I know her and we are friends. I don't know what I'd do without her to talk to for HOURS after we get off work. I hope you have a good day Lauren! Love you girl!
